OnRobot’s proven leadership team has a clear strategy to continue to acquire and develop innovative Collaborative Applications technologies and to grow revenues rapidly.
The Country Sales Manager will be responsible for all commercial activities in Korea. The key success criteria is the ability to scale the business quickly through expansion and effective activation of the channel partner network.
The main office for OnRobot is located in Odense, Denmark.
Developing Sales in Korea
OnRobot is a dynamic company with a bold vision to define and own the market for Collaborative Applications. You will part of a team of highly motivated employees, who are all focused on expanding sales of OnRobot’s unique technologies through channel partners.
Today, OnRobot goes to market with a portfolio of robot accessories to enable innovative Collaborative Applications. The current product portfolio includes electric and double vacuum grippers as well as Force Torque (F/T) sensor technologies. The product portfolio is continuously expanding, both in terms of products and robot platform compatibility. It is a requirement that you are technically inclined to grasp new technologies and experienced in going to-market with new products developing a market demand for it through channel partner network.
You will be responsible for signing and enabling a high number of new partners in Japan and growing average sales by partner is one of the key KPIs. You must be able to deploy product & technical training and support strategy to ensure that the channel partner network is well trained on our products and kept up-to-date on our product portfolio and technology developments. You will establish a close collaboration with the channel partners and support them when challenges arise.
You will share technical support and sales & marketing support resource with regional team members for Japan & Korea managed by headquarter. The Regional Technical Support Engineer will be based in the region and handles pre-sales and supports partner training and in troubleshooting, diagnosis and problem solving. The Sales and Marketing Support will be based in headquarter and is responsible for all sales and marketing related activities, including order processing, logistics, communication and is your point person for support on your commercial activities. You should expect to grow the team across the region in line with sales growth in time to come.
Key Success Criteria
- Rapidly grow OnRobot’s channel partner network across Korea
- Ensure effective enablement of new partners through sales and product training and GTM strategy and S&M activities
- Actively drive revenue growth through the partners; increase average sales by partner
- Participate in the budget process and own P&L responsibility for the region
- Identify and hire the right talent to scale revenue in the region
- Manage and drive sales & marketing activities in a growing team
- Set, measure and achieving KPIs aligned to OnRobot’s strategy
- Establish relationships with robot manufacturer executives in the region
- Understand and consult customers on application specific solutions together with our partners both in existing application areas and in new areas
- Uncovering customer needs
- Carry out/ participate outreach events such as seminars, roadshows, exhibitions etc.
- Collect feedback from the customers
Professional profile: Strong Sales DNA and Technical Acumen
You have relevant educational background in engineering or business administration, combined with work experience in technical sales for a minimum of 8 years. You have a proven track record of operational experience, growing revenue and developing new markets or GTM with new products. You are experienced in driving channel sales and experience in channel development and management. Previous experience in the field of automation or robot technology is required.
You are driven by challenges and ambition, result-oriented and focussed on execution. You have a sense of urgency and understand the importance of meeting your targets. You drive execution discipline in your sales process and in your team. You act with integrity. You possess a strong character and have executive presence, as well as good communication skills. You possess a high level of motivation and persistence, enabling you to negotiate and close deals and contracts. Your cross-cultural skills are evident in your leadership and your daily work.
You can travel 80-120 days per year in order to drive sales activities across the region, visit partners and attend trade fairs and exhibitions.
You are a native Korean speaker and speak English fluently.
