OnRobot was founded in 2015 in Odense, Denmark, and is on track to become the global One-Stop Shop for all Collaborative Applications on all Robot Platforms. OnRobot is defining and leading the market for Collaborative Applications by bringing disruptive technologies to market quickly.
To help grow our European market OnRobot is looking for a combination Technical Support and Application Engineer supporting Italy, UK and the Nordics. As a critical part of the organization, you will help contribute to the commercial success of our business. You will work closely with your regional colleagues in EMEA and around the world. The position is either based in Odense in Denmark or Barcelona in Spain, and reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. Candidate must already reside in either Denmark or Spain and be legally allowed to work.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Independently as well as working with partners, SI’s, and end-users to design and develop automation solutions with OnRobot’s products in the manufacturing industry.
- Ensure partner network is knowledgeable and capable of using OnRobot’s products through training, technical support, and certifications.
- Help customers identify opportunities for automation with collaborative applications and prioritize opportunities for OnRobot (high value add, scalable and repeatable, growth enabling).
- Formalize learnings and conclusions from projects to be shared with colleagues, including creating standard specification recommendations, work instructions, presentations, and training material.
- Participate in and help prepare for trade shows and seminars with application design and robot programming.
- Assist sales team in developing opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Network and develop relationships with robot manufacturers.
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in designing, installing, and/or commissioning industrial applications in the manufacturing industry
- Experience in designing and integrating robotic applications for manufacturing automation.
- Good problem solving and communication skills. Must be able to work directly with customers/partners to solve urgent issues and get positive results.
- Results focused self-starter with high energy and motivation. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel up to 75%. Occasional overseas business trips may be required.
- High level of proficiency in Italian, English, is required (spoken and written).
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical field.
